 I was once lucky enough to get up close to a beautiful herd of migrating whales and their calves on the Southern Ocean in Albany. It was magnificent – one of those things I will never forget.

Part of the joy of being an alpaca farm owner is the annual shearing. People always ask me how it’s different to shearing sheep.
